Saudé Creek is a privately-owned and operated vineyard and winery located on the Pamunkey River
in historic New Kent County, Virginia. The mild climate and mineral-rich clay soils of the Virginia
Tidewater contribute to our complex and food-friendly wines. Our winery site once boasted Frank’s Tavern, a Colonial Inn and Publick House for wayfarers riding between points north or west and the Colonial capitol of Williamsburg. George Washington and the French General Rochambeau, among other patriots and notables of the time, reputedly slaked their thirst here. We at Saudé Creek invite
you to do the same with our rare and excellent vintages. At our winery's beautiful new Tasting Room, tastings are $7 to sample all our fine wines, and include a Saudé Creek souvenir glass. Our Winter Hours (January - February) are Wednesday - Monday, 12:00 noon - 6:00 pm. We are closed on Tuesdays.
