Saudé Creek Vineyards is committed to providing every guest with a memorable experience. We encourage you to bring a picnic, sit on our porches, and enjoy our outdoor areas and fabulous view while sipping a glass or two of our Saudé Creek wines.
In order to ensure the comfort of all of our guests, NO outside food will be permitted in the winery. Snacks purchased from Saudé Creek as well as our food vendors will still be allowed inside the winery. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you at the winery!
Are large group parties allowed?
We encourage guests to come and spend time at our winery with friends and family. In an effort to have adequate staffing available to create a pleasurable visit, groups over 15 will require a rental agreement. Rented space can be reserved by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling the winery directly at 804 966-5896.
Are dogs allowed?
You are welcome to bring your dog with you when you visit. We have designated pet areas around the winery. Please remember to keep your pet leashed and supervised at all times. Many of the pet areas are shared with families so always clean up after your pet if necessary. No pets, except official service dogs, are allowed inside the winery or on the upper deck and porch.
Do you do Weddings, Showers, Parties, or Group Events?

Do you offer group tastings?
We are happy to accommodate groups of 10 to 15 with advance reservations based on winery availability. Please be prepared to pay for your group tasting when the reservation is made and understand this payment is non- refundable. Group tastings take place in a private location, away from the tasting bar to ensure the comfort of all our guests. For groups larger than 15, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do you ship your wines?
We currently only ship in Virginia. Please email email@example.com or call the winery directly at 804 966-5896 for shipping costs.
Do you have a restaurant at your winery or can we bring picnics?
No, we don't have a restaurant at the winery; however, you can find the Scottish Pig BBQ here every Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday. We encourage you to sit on our porches and enjoy our outdoor areas and fabulous views while enjoying your picnics. Outside food is not permitted inside the winery, but feel free to enjoy snacks purchased from SCV as well as our food vendors inside of our establishment.
Does your winery allow children?
Families are welcome at our winery. While children may visit with their parents, for the enjoyment of all our guests, we respectfully ask that you keep them with you at all times.
With so many guests visiting our winery, please have smaller children in a stroller or at your side, and do not allow them to sit on the tasting bar. Any guests under the age of 21 cannot drink alcohol, even with a parent’s consent.
Are you handicap accessible?
We are wheelchair accessible in our tasting room & outside deck and porch. Handicapped parking is on the right side of the winery right next to the wheelchair ramp.
Do you offer cellar tours?
We do not offer cellar tours at this time. We do open the cellar on special occasions and during some events, so keep an eye on our events calendar so you won’t miss your chance.
Are there any hotels near your winery?
While New Kent County does not have any hotels, there are some local Bed & Breakfasts nearby. Williamsburg and Richmond are a short 30-minute drive from our winery and have numerous hotels and attractions.
Do you donate wine?
No, sorry, we do not donate wine; but, we will try to accommodate your request for a donation. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org, include a flyer with your event information, complete mailing address, and federal identification number of your charity. Be sure to allow 2 to 3 weeks for us to complete your request.
Do you allow outside beverages?
As you will see from our signs, we ask that you do not bring any outside alcohol onto our property. This is a direct violation of Virginia ABC regulations. We do have sodas and water available here at SCV for purchase. Currently, we do allow our guests to bring in non-alcoholic beverages and reserve the right to inspect all coolers brought onto the property. If any outside alcohol is found it will be removed and you may be asked to leave the premises.
Do you have a wine club?
We sure do and we would love for you to join our family.
